Laban Marsh returns from Aruba and we missed last week, so we had to catch up on a lot on. Unfortunately, Laban came home and his mother was sick, everyone please pray for her recovery.
We deviated from our normal discussion and talked about a few issues Laban was not aware of that has gone on in my own life. He was not aware of an unfortunate infection that caused my foot amputation and that I have worn a prosthetic leg for the last 2 years. I explained how it all happened, and it was my own fault, Laban felt awful, but I told him it was my responsibility.
I shared stories Laban did not know of completely. Using Fentanyl for a year and becoming a vicious drug addict, where I hit Rock Bottom. I lost everything and went to rehab for 6 months to get clean.
Then the car accident when I hit a tracker trailer, last December, flipped 5 times and was thought to be dead. It was a miracle I came out of it with only a broken nose and still survived.
Laban was shocked to hear my story; I was not hesitant to tell it. My concern was to be supportive of his mother and to let him know I am here for him. She is doing well and has excellent care. Love you Laban!
