Laban introduces our first guest ever, Kalli Knot, a UConn Pole Vaulter who is a two-time Big East Champion. Kalli is going into her senior year and is starting her own business called Ulite. It focuses on raising mental health awareness for athletes. Their motto is to put yourself first and Kalli will be starting a platform where athletes can share their stories. Laban coached Kalli in high school and was a mentor, played a big role in her choosing to attend UConn. We talk about how proud he is of her accomplishments. Laban's own daughter also competes in track. She runs the 4 by 100-meter relay and also is an outstanding pole vaulter. Making states as a freshman, Laban shares a personal story which is powerful for not only parent, but coaches to hear.

We discuss a variety of topics; I am excited because this is going to be a fantastic podcast. Laban is one of the smartest guys I know and offers incredible insight.
